Privacy Policy

Noteline ("we", "us") makes a sheet-music reading app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. Questions: info@noteline.co.

What we collect

• Account information: your email address and a securely hashed password, so you can sign in and sync.
• Your library: the music files (MusicXML) you import and any names you give them, so we can save them to your account and sync across your devices. This includes items you delete, which we retain for up to 30 days so you can recover them.
• Subscription status: whether you have an active Noteline Pro subscription, provided by RevenueCat and the app stores. We do not receive your full payment card details — payments are handled by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat.
• Basic technical logs: standard server logs (e.g., IP address, timestamps) needed to operate and secure the service.

What we do NOT do

• We do not sell your data.
• We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
• We do not share your library with anyone.

How we use it

To provide the app: authenticate you, store and sync your library, deliver Pro features, and keep the service secure and working.

Service providers

• RevenueCat — manages subscription entitlements.
• Apple App Store / Google Play — process payments and subscriptions.
• Our hosting runs on our own server. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).

Data retention & deletion

• You can delete your account at any time from within the app (Account → Delete account). This permanently removes your account, your library, and your trashed items from our servers.
• Deleted library items are kept for 30 days for recovery, then permanently removed.
• You can also email info@noteline.co to request deletion.

Children

Noteline is rated for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy; we'll change the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
